What
has been, what is and what is to come...... ??
Things that
has been are of course present, history has formed how things are right
now.... and knowing the past is in fact just a way to understand the present form,
the day tomorrow doesn't exist yet, if we're unconscious it'll have
it's own way, but
with a clear mind we do have a choice, listening to our hearts we will
know what's right and with serving hands we will be able to act.
The
economy becomes global, which is both "good" and "bad"
Good
because the idea of a "national" economy doesn't work (the only
"nationality" that truly can exist is cultural, not
political or
economical)
Bad because this globalization of economics is dominated by a
concept I call "the Eurocentric patriarchal capitalist
culture of violence",
meaning that the dominant ideas today are based on a white male
military capitalist perception.
|
|
How
come ?? Because the power of today was created by white males who
ruthlessly murdered and raped their way to economic and political
dominance....
During the
last 100 years or so we have also seen the emergence of the concept of
universal individuals rights, the subjects rights against being just
objects to a political, cultural and economical system....
And as I
see it "the Eurocentric patriarchal capitalist culture of violence" is
descriptive of a system. On an individual level, you might as well
benefit from this system being a woman, Afro-American or whatever. And
as a white male oppose it strongly.
Well the
president of USA is white, male and prefer defending capitalism with
military solutions.... but it might as well be an Afro-American or a
female that represent that culture, such as Colin Powell and
Condoleezza Rice
Nationalistic politics are dangerous.... and what we see today is a
cooperation between nations benefiting from this concept.... the North,
as we call it, gather and use the political system (superior military
power), to impose the economic and cultural dominance. On the other
hand we have the reactionary responses to this ... terrorism, which
arises from despair, either from the "left" (economic -
fundamentalists) or the "right" (cultural - fundamentalists)
There
is one obvious solution that nobody seem to notice ... the resources to
solve some of the economic despair and wast ecological hazards, to
rightfully by political means defend the individuals right to a
dignified life, no matter where on this earth he or she is incarnated,
it is not to take Bill Gates imaginary billions and redistribute among
the poor....
But the
truly civilized answer, to abandon violence, meaning that the political
system reduce their military defense of nationalist and economical interest ...
human rights, environmental protective rights etc., can no longer be the
responsibility of
national governments... and the dominating nations should really be in
the lead here.
In the
process of disarming the reactionary military strength, we also need to
see a disarmament of the dominant economic and political culture ...
and free the resources invested in destructive means, to finance
creative possibilities globally.
1/4 of
the military expenses every year can through an international
cooperation, solve most of the problems we talk about....

24000
people die from starvation every day, lots of kids around the world
never get a chance to develop their capacities, because they are malnutrioned, don't have
access to clean water, health care or proper education....
all those living near
dumping places for hazardous waste exported from the North, work in
factories under slave like conditions etc. etc. .... the basic needs of
the individual is no longer a national or economical question, it is a
cultural/spiritual question.... WE have a choice for tomorrow,
shall we shoot them or feed them !!!!!
With a warm
heart, serving hands and a clear mind
